Akron’s young people have incredible potential, but many lack access to the resources and mentorship needed to grow into strong, capable leaders. Leadership opportunities in schools require ongoing support, funding, and community involvement to truly thrive. Without that support, too many students may miss out on experiences that teach responsibility, teamwork, and confidence.
The Rise & Shine with Kiwanis for Kids event was created as a community-wide fundraising initiative to directly support Kiwanis’ mission of Building Leaders, One Child at a Time. Proceeds from the event fuel youth leadership programs across Akron Public Schools, empowering students to step into leadership roles, serve their peers, and shape a brighter future.
We developed digital marketing campaigns, a dedicated website, and printed direct mail, borchures and event signage, all designed to drive sponsorship and attendance.
